Over the objection of Michael Jackson’s father, the special administrators of the singer’s estate on Tuesday were named its executors by a judge who ruled the family patriarch had no standing to challenge the appointments.

*Despite being left out of Michael Jackson’s 2002 will, his father Joe Jackson is seeking a stipend from the singer’s estate to help cover his $15,000 monthly expenses, according to court documents filed Friday.

Jackson Burial Pushed Back to Sept. 3 (FOX 11 News Los Angeles)

Attorneys for AEG Live, Michael Jackson’s mother and the singer’s estate returned to court today to try and reach a financial agreement for a proposed touring Jackson memorabilia exhibition, as the date of the pop singer’s burial was pushed back to Sept. 3.
